Celebrating International Women's Day
The Challenge
Sweet&Chilli were tasked with activating and showcasing the Maker’s Mark ‘Change Makers’ trade advocacy program in celebrating International Women’s Day.
The Detail
At Sweet&Chilli, we thrive every time to make each activation more and more impactful than the next, consistently learning how we can improve what people take out of our events and give back to our community in the drinks industry.
On International Women’s Day 2023, we celebrated the launch of Maker’s Mark’s new advocacy program – Change Makers. Designed by S&C for Maker’s diplomats (aka their brand ambassador team) to bring new education programs to the trade that empower the hospitality industry to make their mark, make it meaningful and make it better.
The launch event brought women in the drinks industry together & was based around 3 themes; Fearless Females, Local Honey Gold Rush and Make Your Mark, Leave No Trace.
The Impact
Bartenders took part in lino printing workshops, talks from Nicole Neuroscience and Flavour with Purpose with Bermondsey Street Bee’s Honey Sommelier who shared her wealth of knowledge in Bee conservation and best sustainable practices to be applied within the industry.
The event celebrated International Women’s Day with Women in the Industry, in the orangery at TT Liquor, partnering with organisations Women’s Aids, Naomi Network, Womenkind Worldwide, Equality Now.
